This is the second installment in our Experiments series. On this album we feature a live recording of our first jam session. Lon and I met at the local Kroger grocery store deli and jammed with our headphones on. Our ultra-portable set up consisted of Lon on electric guitar and iPad and Jeremy on two iPads. Lon played his guitar through a Line Six Pocket Pod, for effects. Everything was mixed on a portable 8-channel mixer and recorded to a Zoom H2.

Lon and Jeremy Spurgeon formed Matrix Mirage in 1985. Lon and Jeremy are first cousins who grew up together and learned how to play music early in life. Lon focused mainly on guitar and Jeremy first learned guitar and banjo, but in the '80s switched to keyboard.
